How many is 5,000?: Numbers these days seem to have lost their value.  Gas prices were the thorns in our side just a year ago, when we were struggling to fill up our midsized sedans for less than $55 per tank. read more

Youth Development – What Exactly Are We Talkin’ About?: The term is thrown around so frequently nowadays. We read about it in magazines. We see dvd’s that brag of contributions to it. We hear about MLS clubs who invest millions in it. But what exactly is “youth development”? read more

Soccer Changes Lives Everyday: Pittsburgh Soccer in the Community
Pittsburgh Soccer in the Community (PSC) is a 501c3 organization that was formed in 2004 by James Meara and Mark Taylor. PLAYER PROFILE - Leah Eckman

Throughout this year’s Winter Academy we were very encouraged to see every player strive to make positive changes in their individual game. Corporate Sponsorship

The Riverhounds offer various levels of corporate sponsorship packages. These packages are extremely affordable for companies who are looking for quality, targeted advertising opportunities in these days of economic turmoil. Sponsorship packages can be catered to fit your company’s specific wants and needs, and include year-round signage (at all 2009 home matches at CV HS during the summer and at Greentree SportsPlex during the off-season), direct marketing to all youth program participants, corporate fitness memberships for the Greentree SportsPlex workout facilities, and name recognition at all Pro Team events. For soccer clubs like the Riverhounds, sponsorship dollars help in fueling youth programs such as The Riverhounds Academy and promote the viability of professional soccer in Pittsburgh.
