Throughout this year’s Winter Academy we were very encouraged to see every player strive to make positive changes in their individual game. However, Leah Eckman not only worked hard when she showed up for every training session with her pool group, but the instructors could tell that she was doing it on her own time as well. Her dedication to improve her game is precisely why she was promoted to the U12/U13 Girls Elite Group.
When Leah showed up to the Elite session for her first day of training with her new group, she showed the focus, willingness to learn new concepts, and the positive attitude to better her game. Over the 2 month stretch that Leah was in our Elite Academy she made vast improvements on her foot skills; balance on and off the ball, and her overall technical ability with the ball.
We look forward to working with Leah in our upcoming Spring/Summer Academy. We also look forward to the smile that she has on her face everyday! Great job Leah!
